Cilla Ciliate
Cilla Ciliate

Cilla Ciliate is a type of protist that is covered in little hairs. These little hairs can beat all together like thousands of paddles, so Cilla can swim very fast.

Ciliates can be very tiny but some are almost as big as one of the full stops on this page. Ciliates eat bacteria and other protists.  Some can even eat small animals like little worms and water fleas.

On your trail answer sheet, enter ‘Cilla‘ as the answer for the Café Marzano’s QR code.
